Creating Ads

Difficulty: Beginner

Learn to go beyond the boost button and start creating ads using Ads Manager. This training will walk you step by step through the basics of setting up an ad start to finish using Ads Manager. Designed for people who have tried boosting a post but have never created an ad using Ads Manager, OR, for anyone who would like a current refresher on Ads Manager if it has been a while since you last created an ad.

Prerequisites: Have at least one Facebook Page that you manage.

Audiences & Targeting

Difficulty: Beginner

Learn to define and find your ideal target audience on Facebook and Instagram to serve your ads to people who are are more likely to do business with you. Targeting your ideal customer helps to cut wasted ad budget and get your ads in front of people who are interested in your offers. Learn how to create core audiences, custom audiences, lookalike audiences, and how to retarget customers or people who have engaged with your brand.

Prerequisites: The previous training "Creating Ads Using Ads Manager" is recommended but not required.

Budgets & Strategy

Difficulty: Beginner

Learn how to create a strategy to match your budget for ads. Small budget? There is still a strategy for you! Learn what objectives to choose for your ads to conserve budget and what options to use when you are ready to make sales.

Prerequisites: It is recommended that you have tried either boosting posts or running your first ad using Ads Manager to get the most out of this training. It's ok if you're not feeling proficient at it.

Reporting & Results

Difficulty: Intermediate

Learn how to dig deeper inside of Ads Manager to look at the results of your Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns in several different ways. See the demographics of who your ads are delivering to, see what placements your ads are showing up in, and learn how to use these results to make positive changes in future ad campaigns to make the most of you budget.

Prerequisites: It is recommended that you run a few of your own ads using Ads Manager in order to get the most out of this training.

    As long as you are comfortable with using Facebook, you are managing a Business Page, and you are ready to start creating Facebook Ads then this training will be very effective for you.

    Yes! Some people are already comfortable creating their own Facebook ads but may not know how to implement a strategy or read reports for optimizing. With this group training, you are getting valuable knowledge that would normally cost $245/hour as a stand-alone session. So even if only one session appeals to you, I would still suggest signing up for this training.

  • How much do I need to spend on Ads?

    You can spend as little as $25-$50 on your ads to use this training as an exercise to get comfortable with how Facebook Ads work.

  • How much time is needed?

    Sessions are 1.5hrs in length, 6hrs total training.

  • What if I can't attend the LIVE training?

    Replays will be available immediately in the Facebook group and uploaded to your course content soon after the end of the broadcast.

  • What kind of results can I expect?
